MY AEGEE experience

AEGEE has been far more than just a cultural association to me. Since 2008, I have actively participated in AEGEE Palermo's activities, collaborating in the organization of international events such as Summer Universities and cultural exchanges.

In 2009, I founded AEGEE Agrigento—a rewarding yet challenging endeavor due to the bureaucratic hurdles and the task of inspiring new students to embrace a fresh vision of Europe.

By 2016, AEGEE Agrigento proudly celebrated its 7th anniversary. My presidency, which lasted until 2013, was marked by numerous initiatives that significantly benefited a large number of students.

One of the most impactful achievements was the agreement signed with Polo University of Agrigento, which enabled students to connect with a network of 230 antennas across the European continent. Establishing the AEGEE Agrigento office within the university grounds further facilitated student participation in various exchanges and EU projects, enriching their academic and cultural experiences.

Conoscere i cittadini Europei

The cultural exchange project in Belgrade, Serbia, was a valuable endeavor dedicated to promoting European citizenship through international cooperation. Organized by AEGEE Agrigento and AEGEE Beograd, the project fostered cross-cultural dialogue, allowing participants to engage in enriching discussions, build connections, and explore shared European values. Through collaboration and exchange, students experienced firsthand the power of unity and mutual understanding across borders.
