About me

I love life and all of its facets. I deeply believe that being passionate and carrying out your role with determination and commitment is a key to success in any career.

I am always eager to further my knowledge and obtain new experiences. Thus, throughout the years, I have carried out several challenging experiences which enhanced me both in a personal and professional way. Such activities have centered mainly around music, theatre, sports, and culture.

In 2002, I was part of a team of students from my region who participated in the planning of a project regarding ‘European Identity’. Our project was chosen from among several others, giving us the opportunity to join a training course in Brussels which focused on the workings of the European Parliament.

In 2008, I started working as a Corporate Administrator with the Italian regional television "Teleacras”. After working with sponsors and clients for a significant period of time, I gained enough experience to be part of the management team, eventually being given the role of Project Manager of  “Non Solo Musica Tv”, a new television format .

In July 2006, I graduated in "Music Studies & Management of the Show Business"  Bachelor Degree at the University of Palermo, DAMS.

In July 2015, I graduated in “Multimedia Production & Performing Art”                Master's Degree at the University of Palermo, with a full year Erasmus at the University of Malta.

My passion for European issues and aspiration for a borderless Europe triggered my participation into a new adventure with the European student association "AEGEE Europe". This was an experience which completely changed my approach and my outlook on European issues, aspiring me to become involved in several activities in collaboration with AEGEE and the University of Polo of Agrigento. Such activities centred mainly around the organisation of international events which included ‘Summer Universities’ and several cultural exchanges.

In 2009, I founded AEGEE Agrigento. This proved to be a very challenging experience both in the amount of paperwork which was involved, but especially in successfully spreading the idea of a new Europe among students, encouraging them to participate in European initiatives and empowering them to take full benefit of their rights as European citizens.

During that period, I worked as a Legal Office Administrator.  My greatest achievement in this role was the development of a European Project entitled "Progetto GI – Giovani Imprenditori per un futuro da protagonisti".

In 2014, AEGEE Agrigento celebrated its 5th  anniversary. In my role as the president of the antenna (2009-2013), I organised several activities which involved the participation of a significant number of students from all over the European Continent. These included six Summer Universities, two Winter Universities, one AEGEE Europe Local Training Course, two international exchanges in Beograd and Bucharest respectively as well as several workshops and meetings in Agrigento. The list of Partners of the Aegee Agrigento projects includes the Univeristy Polo of Agrigento, the Univertity of Palermo, The Province of Agrigento, the City Hall and several private sponsors.

My participation in a Youth in Action Programme in Iasi, Romania enabled me to acquire a ‘Europass’ certificate and enhance my interpersonal skills.

In 2012, my collaboration with AEGEE Valletta's activities helped to foster a strong relationship between the Sicilian and the Maltese associations. The cooperation of the two antennas resulted in the organization of a Travel Summer University between Sicily and Malta, a training course experience for 45 participants coming from all over the European Continent. This experience surely helped the participants to become more familiar to the Mediterranean culture and international cooperation.

In May 2013, I was selected for the Lifelong Learning Programme ‘Leonardo da Vinci’–an Internship Project which enabled me to work in the Tourism and Culture sector in Ireland.

After working for three years as a Front Desk Receptionist and at the Reservation Office of the Hotel Calypso in Marsalforn, I decided to invest all my energy in a new career direction. I have undertaken and successfully completed the ICA Course in Compliance joining Credence Corporate Advisory Services Limited as a Corporate Administrator becoming eventually a Corporate Relationship Manager. I aspire and look forward to new challenges and career opportunities that will allow me to perform to the best of my abilities and personality.
