 Leonardo Project

The following videos, which form part of the Leonardo Project "AR.TU Empowerment in the Art and Tourism Sector" have been created as part of the E.U. Lifelong Learning Program.  This video was shot between the 20th of January 2013 and 11th May 2013 in Londonderry, Belfast and Dublin. It gives a general overview of the training experienced and the work carried out both individually and as part of the team.

 

Backstage

Leonardo Project Backstage Video

This video offers an idea of the whole experience in North Ireland showing part of behind the scenes of the internship.  The aim of this video is to show the teamwork between a group of students in a multicultural setting. The team was composed of students from diverse backgrounds, who were facing different issues but who shared a common goal.

 

Aims

The aforementioned program aims to develop the personal skills of the participants, enabling them to apply these skills in the tourism sector of the country in which they are temporarily residing.  It aims to develop and improve:

  • the interpersonal skills and teamwork of the participants;

  • the ability of effectively leading the group through the production process (Pre-production, Production and Post-production);

  • the capacity to create original ideas through directing and editing;

  • the ability to promote Derry/Londonderry through the dissemination of information regarding its major attractions and its history.
